Since our humble beginnings in the mid-1960s, MA Brothers has been a cornerstone in the North-East for the local migrant communities. Our company was born from the desire of Mr Aslam and his five brothers who arrived from South Asia to bring the flavours of home to the local community.
With limited resources but a shared vision, the brothers established MA Brothers in Newcastle. Their dedication turned a small local shop into a bustling hub, supplying homes and local businesses with unique products that were otherwise unavailable in the region. Our mission was simple: to deliver a taste of the East to the North-East.
In 2009, building on decades of success and community support, MA Brothers expanded into a purpose-built supermarket and wholesale centre. This move allowed us to provide an enhanced shopping experience, catering to the diverse needs of our customers with a wide range of quality products and exceptional service.
